Actor Darren Wang (33) was arrested for trying to avoid military service. Reports say he paid 1 million NTD to a group that helped him. They told him to pretend to have heart problems and get a doctor’s note to avoid military service. After questioning, he was released upon paying 150,000 NTD to the court. Later, the police arrested another man, surnamed Lin, for the same reason. So far, 12 people have been taken for investigation. The case is still under review.
