Short Article 

In Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, some deer have black lumps on their skin. These lumps are caused by a virus called deer fibroma. The virus can infect other deer when they share food or rest places. People are immune and cannot get the disease. Most lumps are small, but some are big. The deer’s immune system can fight the virus, and lumps often disappear after a few months. Scientists say climate change may be one reason for more infected animals. Warmer climate helps insects and ticks spread, and this can bring more viruses to wild deer.
